Flat Lat/Lon to Lambert

Jul 19, 2011 at 3:43 PM

I am working on converting  Flat Lat/Lon to Lambert Conformal Lat/Lon.

The details of the Lambert Conformal is given here.

http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/docs/on388/tableb.html#GRID252

Basically we have data for turbulence in Lambert format.

Our Map is using Flat Lat/Lon for plotting.

Want to convert Flat Lat/Lon from our Map to Lambert Lat/Lon to find if there is turbulence on our Map.

How to go about it?

Thanks

Providing the Lambert Conformal info as the link in the original posting may not work.
